First of all, the sitting area of the place to be heated should be calculated and the total volume should be found by multiplying the height. Then, one of the following values should be selected according to the regional situation of the place to be heated. (For Turkey, you can find below which heat zone your city is located in.)
 
Multiplier value by region;
1. Region = 30 kcal/h m³
2. Region = 45 kcal/h m³
3. Region = 60 kcal/h m³
4. Region = 70 kcal/h m³
 
NOTE: Since the insulation is strong in newly constructed buildings, if you live in such a building, you can use 10 points below the above values in your calculations.
  
E.g;
The heat loss of a room in Istanbul with a ceiling height of 3 meters, a width of 4 meters and a length of 6 meters is as follows;
 
4x6x3=72m²
Since Istanbul is located in the 2nd Heat Zone, our multiplier value will be taken as 45 kcal/h.
72x45 = 3.240 kCal/h average heat requirement.
